Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV)

I feel so challenged as I write this today. We are normal people who face the same fears and challenges as many of you. The same doubts and heartaches… And the last few days have been ones where I have battled that fight of faith in my heart. I read this little devotional book called “Come away with me my beloved” written back in the 60's (I think) by Francis Roberts, and it challenged me today about what exactly do I believe God can do? My unbelief will keep God's power hindered in my own life. The second part of Ephesians 3:20 says – “according to the power thats works in us” – am I letting that power work? Am I letting it shape my belief? My spoken words? My thoughts and actions? Or do I shackle that power through selfishness and doubt. Like I said yesterday, trust is the key that opens the door of our heart for Christ to make it His home. Trust. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all that we could ask or think… I believe this. And because I believe this, I will trust Him, take Him at his word, keep on going, fight fear and selfishness, through declaring His promises over my life – Believing that every step He asks me to take, is on the road to “exceeding abundance”. Let His power work within you – let it knead out your unbelief, and purge your selfishness. When you are in the place where you feel you can no longer do it on your own, trust in God, trust in His exceeding goodness, His abundant life giving love, His purpose that is above our understanding and beyond our wildest dreams… It's the birthplace of miracles. Love you guys. We're all in this together.
