Created for Good Works

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” – Eph 2:10 (NKJV)

We are the artistry, the creative overflow, the on-purpose design, and the inspired work of God Almighty. He has had a plan for each of us, for you, long before we were born. A plan for us to walk in and live out. You and I were created by the Creator to create. Creatively imagined and shaped in His image to have value, be of use and make a difference on this planet. There is something inside you completely unique…it's a creative power purposely deposited to be discovered and put to work…but only you can unleash it. Eph 1:11 says that “…it's in Christ we find out who we are and what we're living for…” and so our mandate is to discover Christ THEN discover what He has for each of us. “But I don't know what He wants me to do!” I hear you saying. Have you tried anything? Have you tried everything…No, not “feel” like you've tried everything…but literally tried everything? Have you stuck at it when times got tough? When it felt hard to do and no one else was around. When you were sick and tired of it. Thank God Jesus didn't give up on the “good works” God had prepared for Him…otherwise you and I wouldn't be here today! Anything worth anything cost something…and the “work” God has for you, the purpose He has planned for your life to fulfil, won't come presented on a silver platter. It'll be followed by attacks from the enemy, opposition and discouragement, and general desire to quit. But it's when you push through these feelings and learn how to manage them that you will truly see fruit from the “work” that God has called you to.
