If you need some serious encouragement today, read Psalm 112 – it's epically good!! But verse 7 says of those who obey God “They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.”
Let's be real. Trust is a big deal. And it's quite difficult to gain and cultivate AND super easy to loose. Many people struggle with either being trustworthy and/or trusting. So when it comes to trusting God, I have found there is often a journey of the heart to go on… A journey of opening yourself up, bringing down walls and heavily guarded areas of the heart, trusting your hopes, dreams and future to the God who actually gave you those same things. I know the journey well…
But I want to give you this thought today – with pople the journey of trust is almost always risky, you're never quite sure and sometimes tread hesitantly down the trusting road – especially where trust has been broken and abused. But with Jesus, you can trust Him confidently… Not hesitantly, or with a hint of risk… When you trust God you can do so with ALL and EVERY confidence knowing that He is for you, He has great purpose for you, He loves you with an everlasting love, and when we break trust with Him, His grace is sufficient and more than enough for you. Be confident in your trust of Jesus. He's got your back – and all the rest too. Much love… xo
