Ezekiel 37:14 “I’ll breathe my life into you and you’ll live.”

This passage records a vision Ezekiel was given by God about a valley of dry bones that were so dead, so ghostly white and brittle, the was no trace of life in them… Until the spirit of God breathed on them, and bone by bone, muscle by muscle, they became a strong and mighty army, very much alive. The first breathe of God in the bible was breathed into Adam and life instantly filled and animated him. The breathe of God is spirit charged, full of creative power, and carries the spark of life. There may be dreams and hopes, ideas and plans in your heart and life that are as dead, dry and forgotten as a valley of bones. The person you once were, the hopes of who you would be may feel so dead, they're only an apparition of a time that pulsed with life. God has resurrection power. Jesus Christ rose from the grave, conquered death to save our hearts from sin and our souls from hell… And also set a precedent that just because something is dead, it doesn't have to remain so. Get in the way of the breathe of God… It permeates His word, breathes hot in His presence, and surrounds worship and thankfulness. Bring those dead things in your heart to the resurrected Christ and allow Him to rebuild hope, joy, relationships, dreams, ideas, health, faith… Whatever your situation, just take a moment, breathe, and allow God to bring life into it. Much love… xxoo
