As we head into Sunday around the world and millions of people join together to worship and be transformed by the word, Psalm 84:5 says “Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You.” There's a real excitement and expectancy in my spirit about what God is doing in the hearts of His people – these are great and purposeful days. A few thoughts… To dwell is very different than to visit… When you dwell somewhere, you move in, you take ownership, you spend much of your life there… resting… eating… fellowshiping. There's an ease of coming and going because you belong and are part of the family. Visiting has no ownership… It's nice and pleasant, but there's no flow… You visit, you leave. It's not your home, it's not the place where your heart is settled. The church goes beyond the walls of a building – we are the church – you and I… Gods household and the temple of His spirit. We are at home with each other, in worship and in the word where ever we are. As you head into church this weekend, move your heart to dwell in His presence, make a home in His word and worship… Don't just visit church then leave and head into the rest of your week. You experience the full blessing of family when you dwell… Blessed are those who dwell in His house… Have an awesome weekend! Much love.
