Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8 NKJV)

Uncertainty is something we all fear and, to some degree, avoid. There's something about us, as humans, that wants to pull back into the comfort of the things we know. It happens not only in the physical but also in our thought patterns, our emotions and even in our spiritual walk. Fear and apprehension about uncertainty will actually cause you to live smaller than God ever intended. I want to take you on a quick tour of scripture and help you get this. 2 Cor 1:20 “…His promises are yes and amen…” You can depend on the promises of God. He is dependable but you'll never experience it if you don't ‘depend' on Him. Jer 29:11 in the Message starts off “I know what I'm doing…” If He's the Creator, then it's pretty likely He's created everything (including you) with a reason and purpose…and has a fair idea about what's going on! It goes on to say He has a “future and a hope” for us. So apprehension about uncertainty is to say to God “Your promises aren't dependable”, “You don't know what You're doing!” and “there is no future or hope for me in You”. Fear denies God is true, and this is exactly where the enemy wants you. We live in a world filled with uncertainty, but when you feel that fear kick in, remind yourself that one thing remains constant: Jesus. Yesterday, today and forever!  His love and promises never fail and they are drenched in a future for you. You are awesome! Go get this day
