A while back I was talking with someone who saw a demonic presence. It had them kind of freaked out, understandably. Make of it what you will, but the point of the matter is the enemy always uses bluff to scare us off territory he's claimed. Bluff is all he has though.
Jesus won ultimate authority at the cross and delegates that authority to us the moment we give our lives to Him. That means any situation you face is stamped, approved and empowered by His authority. Any fear you face is just bluff by the enemy to make you think you don't have authority. God has not given us a spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind (2 tim 1:7).
The enemy uses fear to make you think you are powerless. He uses it to make you think you aren't loved and to make you think you are going crazy. Jesus isn't called the ‘Prince of Peace' for nothing. It's because when you get an understanding of His authority, and that you're empowered by it, no fear, no bluff or distraction, no craziness or chaotic situation will make you pull back as you have complete peace and assurance in His authority over the situation.
You are allowed to get scared and feel fear, God wired you to feel those feelings as an alert system, but the challenge today is to allow them to alert you to His authority, and how it's absolutely yours in every situation you face. Your best days are ahead in Jesus name…God bless!
