Here in Australia, the east coast has been experiencing crazy weather. Some areas in Queensland and New South Whales have been hit with extreme floods, cyclones and gale force winds. Many have lost homes and businesses, others possessions have been damaged, lives have been lost. Just last week, we had a heat wave and beautiful sunny skies… It's uncanny how the weather can change and what loved us one week, punishes us the next…
When the storms of life come, sometimes unexpectedly and without warning… It can be devastating, leaving you with a massive internal clean up. But when you have Jesus, no matter what happens, what comes against you, experiences you endure, dark storms you weather… You will not be moved. You may experience heartache, and yes, there may be some debris… But it will not ruin you. Your wealth is not in what can be temporarily destroyed… Jesus is your hope and your anchor. Hold onto Him in the sunshine and the rain. Your foundation will be strong and unmovable. Dont let this be a casual thought, or a melancholy emotional moment… But build your life upon Jesus – His word, His ways, His promises… Jesus is your sure foundation, your solid rock, your strong tower.
