It's an interesting time to be alive… There is enormous wealth in the earth, and at the same time, the deepest poverty. In this time of economic ping pong, there can be a real temptation to withhold… Hold onto our wealth, keep it in our pockets, save it under that mattress in the spare room, live lean. Theres a sense of needing to hold on to what we have so tightly incase we loose it all. But the word of God says that its generosity that actually causes us to stand. It's a generous and open heart that causes us to stand tall and strong through lean seasons. Devising generosity is a charataristic of heaven. Jesus himself was generosity personified. God plans and sets in place generous acts towards us… The greatest being the giving and sacrificing of His only son. It's generosity and an open heart that will cause us to be grounded, strong, and secure through any season – it keeps our eyes open, and our heart untainted by stinginess and greed. And at the end of the day – true wealth does not lie in our bank account – but in our hearts, our homes, and in our arms. Much love friends xxoo
